Overview

The Southern Cross University is a New South Wales based University with campuses scattered in coastal parts of the state. The University is proud of it's dedication to teaching international students on it's campuses. They offer amazing levels of support and comfort to international students and understand that being a student in a different country is not only an amazing experience but also a daunting one. The University not only runs English programs for international students but also offers Arts, Science, Law and Business Degrees.

Location

Southern Cross University has campuses in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia, the Northern Coast of New South Wales. This part of Australia is very active in tourism and hospitality, priding itself on their resorts, beaches, restaurants and ability to help any tourist relax. With lovely sub tropical temperatures and a laid back atmosphere. Take a pick of either the Gold Coast/Tweed Heads campus, Lismore, or Coffs Harbour for your next educational destination.

Campus

The main campus for Souther Cross University is the Lismore campus located in northern New South Wales, this is where the head office is and all the main administration and management staff are located. They also offer most Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses for study.

Coffs Harbour campus in northern New South Wales is shared with the local TAFE college (Technical and Further Educational College). This is also where the English Language Centre is located. Here they will offer most Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses also. It may be noted that many of the University programs available at the Coffs Harbour campus may not be available at the other two locations.

Tweed Gold Coast campus is possibly the most popular of the three campuses this is not only because of it's fantastic location with the Gold Coast being home to some of the best surf and beaches in Australia as well as being home to some great theme parks and entertainment venues. This campus offers a range of courses including a range of Bachelor Degrees, Masters Degrees and Doctoral Degrees.

Entry Requirements

To enter into a course with Souther Cross University it is required that you have a IELTS score of 5.0 or higher. If you have not yet completed English Testing it will be required that you do so before commencement of a University Degree in Australia. It is also required that any student considering entry to a University course have completed High School and have the finishing scores needed for acceptance into the desired course.

Enrolment Dates

Student intakes are available in three sessions, also known as a Trimester. Intake dates are during Febuary, June and November yearly.
